In 2012, Dámaso participated for the first time in the Pascua Florida with his captivating sculpture entitled "Muerte habitable". He was pleasantly surprised by the originality of this event, in which artists and florists exhibit their ephemeral creations, made with flowers and other plant elements, along the routes of the Easter processions in the historic center of the town.

The Madrid International Tourism Trade Fair, commonly known as FITUR, has become a key meeting point for professionals and lovers of the tourism industry. It brings together a wide range of players in the sector, including companies, tourist destinations, travel agencies, hotel chains, official bodies and specialized media.

Last February 2023, the Pascua Florida of Guía de Isora was chosen by the citizens as a thematic ecotourism product by means of an online survey. This initiative is part of the European project ECO-TUR2, which is the beneficiary of a grant from the Interreg MAC programme.

After the first edition of the Pascua Florida in 2009, more and more photography enthusiasts have come to Guía de Isora to immortalize the beautiful floral art in the historic center of the village. Therefore, in 2014, it was decided to hold for the first time the Easter Florida photography competition, known as "Photo Marathon".
